Aberdeenshire Council’s web team are part of the ICT department and are based at Woodhill House in Aberdeen, and yes we do know that’s not in Aberdeenshire!
With the help of a network of staff across the whole Council the team manages the day-to-day updating of the website. At the same time we are checking the quality of current content, creating new content and developing new online services. In between all of that we are currently implementing a new design for the site.

Like the look of the proposed freshened up intro pages. I don’t think there is very much wrong with the existing site other than needing a bit updating. Most staff surveys cite that communication is an issue within the council so something like a forum would be useful but I think moderating it might be an issue and would probably need careful thought. I think your team are doing a great job and glad, but not surprised, to see that you want to provide an even better service.
